CLEAR VISION

“Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things again is no trouble to me, and it is a safeguard for you,” Philippians 3:1.

I need my glasses. I don’t always like them, but I need them. Without them things just aren’t CLEAR. Therefore, because I need them, I do the following:

1. keep them near, preferably on
2. keep them clean
3. keep them in repair
4. put up with the nuisances they cause (getting in the way, fogging over, dropping down on my nose, etc.)

It is the same with your ministry’s vision. You may get somewhat tired of hearing me say, “Keep your vision clear.” But, you need to hear it.

You need it. Your staff and lay-leaders need it. Your congregation needs it. To fulfill your purpose, your vision must be clear. You must do the following:

1. keep it near, preferably on your mind and heart
2. keep it clear – keep it simple
3. keep it in focus – review it
4. put up with the seeming nuisances – repeat, repeat, repeat

Hey, I can see clearly now! Now that’s music to God’s ears.
