Man, is it ever windy out there!

No, I’m not talking about the plains of South Dakota. I’m talking about the ‘wind’ of false doctrine (teachings and practices).

It is gale force! Satan, the father of lies, is blowing up one storm after another. Waves of confusion are sinking many ships of faith. Yes, even pastors have gotten caught up in the storm. Around the world, individuals and churches are going under.

Winds of liberalism, winds of emotionalism, winds of legalism, winds of compromise, winds of half-truth, winds of extra-biblical nonsense, winds disguised as light, winds claiming to come from angels, winds claiming to be a ‘new revelation and a reformation’ are howling from the pits of Hell.

Just like the raging winds and waves of nature, so too in twisted, ‘windy’ teachings, the same old trash blows around. It isn’t new. Read the Word of God. These false teachings have been circulating ever since Satan was thrown out of Heaven. The Word tells one more fact, as Christ’s Second Coming draws nearer, false teachers and teachings will increase. They are.

Woe, to the one who spreads them. Woe, to the one who listens to them.

Stand on Christ and His Word alone. You’ll never be blown away, if you grow up in Him.
