Wow! It just isn’t any fun at the pump.

The first time I was in Eastern Europe I poked a little fun at their small cars. The second time I visited, I was envious. What a difference a few dollars makes.

Circumstances really do affect us, but they don’t affect God!

You may be facing the most difficult days of your life or the most glorious, in either case, one thing is True. There is no shifting shadow with God. He just doesn’t change!

In life and ministry change is unavoidable, and at times, good and necessary. In the midst of change, there are two actions of faith that have greatly helped me:

1. No matter what a day may bring, by faith, I accept it as one God has made (Psalm 118:24).

2. In childlike faith, I embrace the unchanging Jesus, Who has promised to be with me to the end (Matthew 28:20b).
